Wild Side Stays
Their holiday while you’re on yours.
Wild Side Stays is a little different to traditional boarding. I only board one dog at a time, so with Penny at home, there are never more than two dogs staying with me.
Your dog becomes part of our little household while you’re away. They’ll be in my company for around 21 hours a day, join me for a two-hour Wild Side adventure with the pack, enjoy a local evening walk, then come home to relax, snooze and settle in for the night.
Think sniffing, digging, exploring, adventures, cuddles and plenty of home comforts. They stay with me in my air-conditioned apartment, not in a kennel.
One guest. Penny. Me. And a proper Wild Side holiday.
Who can come for a Wild Side Stay?
Wild Side regulars will always get first dibs. I already know your dog, they know me, they know Penny and they’re comfortable with their Wild Side pack, which makes staying over feel that little bit more familiar from the start.
Not a Wild Side regular? That’s absolutely okay too.
Before their first stay, I’ll ask you and your dog to join me for three Complementary Wild Side pack walks.
This isn’t just a box to tick. It gives me time to really get to know them, see where they fit within the pack and, most importantly, make sure they’re happy and comfortable with me, Penny and their new Wild Side mates before you go away.
I want you to be able to head off on your holiday knowing your dog isn’t being left with a stranger. They’re coming somewhere they already know.
What to pack for their Wild Side holiday
I want your dog to feel as at home as possible while they’re staying with me, so bring along the things they already know and love.
Their usual food, bed or favourite blanket, crate if they’re crate trained, lead and harness, any medication they need and anything else that helps them settle and feel at home.
Favourite teddy? Bring it. Ridiculous bedtime routine? Tell me. If there’s something you do at home that makes your dog happy and comfortable, I want to know about it.
The idea is simple, their normal routine, just at my place, with Penny and a little more Wild Side thrown in.
A day on their Wild Side holiday
No sitting around waiting for you to come home. Their days will look pretty similar to Penny’s, with plenty of adventure and plenty of time to completely conk out afterwards.
They’ll head out with me for a Wild Side pack adventure of around two hours, with plenty of sniffing, exploring, digging and just being a dog.
Then it’s home with me and Penny to eat, snooze, potter around and relax before we head out again for a local evening walk.
They’ll be in my company for around 21 hours a day, so this really isn’t kennel-style boarding. They’re just coming to live our slightly mad little Wild Side life while you’re away.
Adventure. Home. Snooze. Repeat
